What an amazing place! If you're looking for a unique stay then this hotel certainly delivers. It has style and each room has its own quirky cinematic design. Although I couldn't quite figure out what room I was in, maybe you can guess?
There were rooms dedicated to cinematic icons and the walls are covered with bright artistic animated designs of some of the most influential films of all time.
The service was professional, the lounge relaxed and warm, and the breakfast was top class - especially the pain au chaolat.Visit the website for more details http://dormirdcine.com/

Interesting blog. I read your text about Faro. For younger men Algarve is interesting only during the Summer. If you come back to the region you should rent a car because the best restaurants, beaches and old towns/cities are scattered throughout the region.
ReplyDeleteAnd the Summer has other surprises. The best thing in Algarve gay scene: gay beaches. In my opinion the best gay beach is Cacela Velha beach, near Manta Rota, a touristic village. During the summer it's full of gay men.

Around Cacela Velha there are great restaurants like "A Chaminé", "Casa Velha" or "Chá Com Água Salgada", "Bate Que Eu Abro", "Dona Inês" or "Restaurante Pedro". There are one interesting historical city, Tavira, old villages (Cacela Velha and Castro Marim). There is also a frindly bar, Quasimodos, in Cabanas de Tavira
