Photos - the outskirts of Hanoi, Vietnam, in the countryside

From what I saw Vietnam cannot really say it has a countryside in the traditional sense, commercial farmland and a reduction in cityscape, but pretty much the whole country from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City has been developed in someway. Whether the result of the war and the immense damage caused during the American conflict and the use of chemical weapons, or being a poor yet developing country pillaging from its own land for prosperity. Yet there was a certain charm under the grey skies and paddy fields as far as the eye could see as we cycled the back roads from market to pagoda.
